Candle Burning Tips

Fresh Baked Loaf Pans have multi wicks, Please burn all our refills in our specific loaf pan container. They are container candles. All our current stock of candles are made for burning in containers. To enjoy every drop of our Loaf pan candles, light all wicks each use. Burn at least 3 hours per use. When you extinguish the multi wicks it is best to DUNK the wicks into the liquid wax, then stand the wick back up again. This prevents any smoke and promotes good wick health. Be sure to stand the wicks back up and allow the wax to completely cool again. this way your home isnt filled with smoke only the long lasting fragrance of our candles. After your wax is completely gone, you will see little metal clips at the bottom of your pan. These are used to hold the wicks in place as they burn. Please remove these and any little peices of wick trimmings that may have settled here. Easy way to do this is to either stick the pan in the freezer for 15 min. or so and when its chilled flip it over and bang on the bottom, any residue will just drop off. Or you may warm the pan a bit and wipe it clean when the wax is softened to release the clips. Your pan is ready for a refill. When replacing a new refill. Please remove all cellophane and all packaging from the block of wax before lighting. Drop your new unpackaged refill into the clean pan. press firmly so the wax is tight into the container, stand the wicks up and light all and ENJOY!

New England's Largest Jar Candle Light all three of the custom sized wicks. Please burn a min. of 3 hours at a time, This candle is designed to burn an average of 8 hours at a time. The first few weeks of lighting your candle as the wax is close to the top of the jar receiving excess of oxygen, you may experience a whisp of smoke if it catches a breeze , It this happens after trimming all your wicks then simply bend the custom wick a bit towards the melted wax. (with a flame proof item) Wick dunker or a turkey fork. YOu can use this turkey fork to dunk all your wicks to extinguish all your candles . We do not recommend putting your candles out by covering them. This will accumulate all the smoke inside the jar and and leave residue. Taking care of your wicks will prolong the life of your candle, the scent and you will have extreme clean burning.

Oil Candles Our smokeless odorless oil candles are shipped to you empty. You will need to purchase the oil at local k mart or aubuchon hardware. I do recommend Aubochon Hardware, they can odor you a large bottle for around 20.oo . the large bottle will last several years of daily burning.Perfect lighting for emergencies, Much prettier then kerosene lamp. Please fill ONLY with Smokeless Odorless oil. It burns extremely clean and no odor at all. To extinguish the oil candles simply blow out. To adjust the wicks flame, Simply unscrew cover and twist the wick up or down from under the lid. These everlasting fiberglass wicks will last a life time. There is no need to trim them. Just twist them if they get a little lower or higher flame to adjust it.

Tarts, and Melting Crumbs When melting our tarts we recomend a low watt melter, the 25 watt melters are too hot . The boil the scent away and burn it after prolonged use. Our soft wax turns to oil, It does not have plastic wax hardners or synthetic sun blocks. The longer slow and low burning melters are best. If you must use a plug in tart warmer, Try a coffee mug warmer , melt the tarts in a coffee mug on the coffee mug warmer. They are not as hot as most warmers and the coffee mugs can be poured easily to change the wax and can make some pretty unique gifts. We do prefer the tea light kind of warmers to burn our melts and tarts in as they come to a slow warming and then cool down again, this promotes the life of your scent and your safety, rather then continues heat.

Mix up the tarts and melts For the ultimate scent release, Many of our quality scents actually enhance different notes when mixed with other notes of fragrance. For Example Our Maine Woods , mixed with a berry scent or cinnamon takes on another note . Hot Apple Pie with Gingerbread is extra nice and Lavender with Vanilla cookie is the best, It smells just like Downy blend, and it used to be our Lavender and Lace scent years ago. Clean and freshness like no other. So do a little cooking of your own with mixing of other scents together, You will really be surprised at how unique they are.
